OMNI-Sil Technologies, Inc was established in June of 2001 and is privately held. The President/Owner, James R. Hamilton, is a graduate of the University of Akron with a major in Polymer Sciences. Hamilton worked from 1978 to 1991 in various capacities at a premier closed cell sponge and dense extrusion house, Lauren Manufacturing. He also used and developed adhesive systems and coatings for rubber articles. He then went to a competitor where he gained further knowledge of extrusion, molding and the technology of making Silicone from gum. In 1993, he joined Lexington Insulators and was the head of Research and Development for Lexington Precision's Rubber Group. In 1999, he rejoined Lauren International as a consultant for their numerous divisions. Hamilton's experience in the various disciplines has provided him with a sound infrastructure to develop a vast array of silicone custom compounds for the rubber industry.
